Law and Justice Funders Network
The Law and Justice Funders Network (LJFN) is a collective of philanthropic trusts, foundations and private donors with a shared interest in informed, strategic funding in law and justice issues. It began meeting in late 2013, co-convened by the Reichstein Foundation and the Victoria Law Foundation.
In early 2017, LJFN reviewed its first 4 years of activities and affirmed its commitment to continue meeting and to explore the potential for some Network members to coordinate their funding to support significant community initiatives. From this, a number of funders within LJFN contributed to a 0.2EFT position to guide and support the network to develop informed, coordinated and strategic funding collaborations. Rachael Hambleton was the inaugural LJFN Project Manager from 2018 until 2021.
As of 2021 there are 45 individual members from 24 organisations (trusts, foundations, law firms, corporates and individual donors).
